Another Kennedy, a short dollar, Fed rates nearing zero, and it’s only Tuesday

Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg

Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg

So, Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg wants Hillary Clinton’s Senate seat. Is she qualified? The New York Times takes a look at her resume. New York Daily News takes a look at her spirit. Is this the rebirth of the Kennedy dynasty? If you were New York Governor David Paterson, would you offer her the seat?

The question has been asked. Now we have an answer. Where was the Secret Service during the now-infamous show-throwing incident?

Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson tells Fox News that a decision is coming, and soon, on the automaker bailout. White House says never mind.

President-elect Barack Obama is meeting with his economic team, Reuters says. Can’t believe that’s going to be a happy gathering. Consider: Bloomberg reports that consumer prices and housing starts fell again and chronicles a two-month low for the dollar. And the Federal Reserve is expected to make another cut today, a move stock markets around the globe apparently liked.

Caroline is slightly smarter than her brother was — and he was dumber than a bag of hair — but she’ll have little chance against Rudy when general
election rolls around.

She is the perfect person to replace Hillary. She has dedicated herself to childhood education reform, is a female lawyer, has never been elected to public office, great name recognition/dynasty ties, and is related to a philandering president. What more qualifications does one need?

She’s accomplished less than Hilary did, if that’s even possible. But she’s a Kennedy so I guess just being a member of that repulsive family matters among the left.

Think there will ever be a time of no Clinton, Bush, Kennedy regimes? We really need some new blood in govt. No, I don’t consider Obmama “change” because therer are the same old retreads in Congress.

This is an insult to the intelligence of America. It is perhaps the most glaring example of American Political Royalty since her rotund uncle. My only question is: why not Chelsea? So, she isn’t old enough. Exceptions have been made in the past. When we will stop allowing certain families to treat goverment as the family business. End Political Royalty in America, now!

This whole thing stinks. First you have Hillary who ran against Obama and now is the nominee for Secretary of State. God knows she never had any experience and was elected to the senate and now this.
This thing with the Kennedy woman is another deal people should look at. No experience at all and wants Hillary’s old job. Why Obama used her for anything is suspect too. Could be someone promised her Hillary’s old job if she helped. Of course Obama is an inexperienced empty suit elected to the highest office in the country. But the country has a fascination with the Kennedy family. They don’t care what people say about them. It’s Camalot all over. The Kennedy’s can walk on water. All of them except uncle Ted. He drives into it.

You Democrats…always good for a laugh. Who said Sarah Palin, Governor of the largest state, is inexperienced? Caroline will give more of the idiot in the MSM “tingles up their legs”. Another “juvenile crush” coming up…

Whew! Glad I re-read that headline. At first I thought it read, “Another Kennedy, a dollar short….” I was about to post, “What the heck happened to the Onassis fortune?” You know, the one Jackie prostituted herself to get, because her kids would have grown up in privation otherwise.

The state of New York is having a horrific budgetary crisis right now. I suggest the governor auction off the senate seat to the highest bidder.

Although I suspect I know the answer to this question already, has anybody here read her books, especially on the Bill of Rights?

She has not been in active politics, but she has been thinking about the issues for a long time.
