With Republican gains in Tuesday’s off-year elections, President Barack Obama doesn’t need a weatherman to tell him which way the winds are blowing. Luckily the president is now his own weatherman.
Just type www.obama-weather.com into your browser and up pops an avatar of the president dressed in whatever clothing is appropriate for your zip code. In Anchorage, he’s wearing boots and a parka. In Miami, it’s a skivvy shirt, shorts and flip-flops. The site is the work of two guys in Belarus, part of the former Soviet Union, who may not have heard the president is not as . . .well, hot as he was a year ago.
The default temperature readings are in Celsius, but if you don’t like socialist settings, you can switch to Fahrenheit. Also you can switch avatars: Angelina Jolie also is available.
