LBJ should always be remembered for standing up to the “die-hard segregationism” and signing in to law the Voting Rights Act. If it had not been for VietNam, he might even be thought of as one of our greater Presidents.

At the same time, Richard Nixon should always be remembered for opening the doors to the Peoples Republic of China, and, for signing into law the Environmental Protection Act.
