What should be on our Blog Roll?
The Platform lists a wide-ranging group of blogs and web sites that we include as diverse collections of opinions on many subjects, a number of which focus on politics, news and public policy.
Scan our Blog Roll and make suggestions in the comments section on what should be added or deleted and why. Some preference will be given to those with local/regional content, original postings and a respectful tone of public discourse.
We plan to update the Blog Roll at diffferent intervals. Tell us what you think.

Gilbert Bailon has been editor of the P-D editorial pages since November 2007. Previously, he worked as a reporter, editor and executive editor for The Dallas Morning News and its daily Spanish-language newspaper, Al Dia. He still harbors a passion for all things Tex-Mex: food, music, language, boots and border culture. And yes he has found some of that in the Midwest.
Good post Steve. I have requested Mr. Bailon and Jo Mannies to link to a local blog that carries both local and national important news which would be a good counter to Dangerous Intersection. Of course, I have been told no. This is a terrific source for breaking important news. They broke the McCullough/Joyce thug story at http://www.Gatewaypundit.blogspot.com.

Here’s one from the left (not a cp member as far as I know) who also has independent positions on gun rights and individual liberties.

Here is an uplifting site, but always worth visiting often to remind yourself of the dangers that we still face even if the PD choses to ignore them for whatever self-serving reason:
