Rucker will miss Mizzou’s first pro timing day
Graham Watson
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Former Missouri tight end Martin Rucker will miss Thursday’s pro timing day to continue nursing the sore hamstring he suffered prior to the NFL Combine last month.

Rucker, who remained in Tempe, Ariz., to train, said he would participate in Missouri’s second pro day on March 20.

Rucker did not participate in the NFL Combine and has yet to participate in any of the timing tests.

Receiver Will Franklin said he would participate in every event at pro timing day except the 40-yard dash and the bench press. Franklin ran a 4.37 in the 40 during the NFL Combine.
