Missouri defensive tackle Ziggy Hood was named to the Outland Trophy watch list, the Football Writers Association of America announced Friday. Hood was the only Mizzou player on the list ad the third player to receive a preseason honor so far. William Moore and Sean Weatherspoon were named to the Lott Trophy watch list a couple weeks ago.

Hood finished the 2007 season with 49 tackles, eight tackles for loss, five sacks, four quarterback hurries, and three forced fumbles to earn honorable mention All-Big 12 honors.
