Tigers’ Big 12 schedule released
From Cameron Hollway: The Missouri basketball team will be on national television a school-record seven times during the Big 12 Conference schedule, the university announced following the release of the schedule by the league office Thursday.
The highlight is a Feb. 9 home game against Kansas that will be televised as part of the ESPN Big Monday package. The Tigers open conference play Jan. 10 at Nebraska, a game that will be carried by ESPN2. Missouri’s Feb. 4 game at Texas also will be on ESPN2, while ESPNU will show the Jan. 14 home date against Colorado and the Feb. 25 home game against Kansas State.
The return match-up with Kansas is slated for CBS on March 1, and the contest at Texas A&M (March 7) is being broadcast on ABC.
The season also marks the first year of the Big 12 Network. Formerly known as ESPN Plus, the Big 12 Network will be the new name of the network during Big 12 Conference telecasts, but will be aired on the same stations as ESPN Plus.
