Stryker Sulak and Jeremy Maclin were honored by the Big 12 as the league’s defensive and special teams players of the week.
Sulak had five tackles for loss, including three sacks, and forced a fumble and blocked an extra point in the 52-42 win over Illinois.
Maclin’s 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown helped Mizzou regain the lead in the second quarter. He finished with 234 all-purpose yards for the game, including 145 yards in kickoff returns, and 56 yards in punt returns, to go with 33 yards from scrimmage (31 receiving, 2 rushing).
