TV update

From the P-D’s Dan Caesar:

Mizzou fans wanting to watch the Tigers on TV won’t have to pay extra after all to see Saturdays’ game against Nevada.

FSN Midwest had planned to carry the Washington State-Baylor game as its Big 12 offering at 11:35 a.m. Saturday but that game was moved to Friday because of the approach of Hurricane Ike. So the MU game was picked to replace the game and will be produced in high def.

Kickoff in Columbia remains at 11:35.

Dan McLaughlin will do the play-by-play, with former Kansas City Chief Danan Hughes and former Tiger Jason Ray serving as analysts. Todd Donoho will be the sideline reporter.

FSN Midwest spokesman Geoff Goldman said those fans who already have ordered the telecast should not be charged, but might want to contact their cable or satellite system to make sure they aren’t billed.
