Harris poll: Oklahoma No. 3; Missouri stays 11th

The Harris poll is out and it has Oklahoma moving up to No. 3. Missouri stayed at No. 11.

That gives the Sooners the No. 2 and 3 spot in the two human polls that are used in deciding the BCS standings. It would take a big difference in the computer rankings to move the Sooners below Texas when the standings come out today. The Longhorns were fourth in the Harris and fourth in the USA Today coaches’ poll.

That means if the Big 12 South remains a three-way among Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech, the Sooners would win the tiebreaker and be the team to face Missouri in the Big 12 title game on Dec. 6.

Well bring on the Sooners. Perhaps the Tigers can do something they couldn’t last year, suck it up and beat Oklahoma. Seems the Seniors have to gut out one more major obstacle known as Boomer Sooner. If this is actually the best senior class ever, it is now put up or shut up time.

ou has played better than any big twelve team so they deserve to be in the position there in.If you look at their home and away games you would say the same.It does’nt matter because MU has revenge on their minds.
