The Harris poll is out and it has Oklahoma moving up to No. 3. Missouri stayed at No. 11.
That gives the Sooners the No. 2 and 3 spot in the two human polls that are used in deciding the BCS standings. It would take a big difference in the computer rankings to move the Sooners below Texas when the standings come out today. The Longhorns were fourth in the Harris and fourth in the USA Today coaches’ poll.
That means if the Big 12 South remains a three-way among Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech, the Sooners would win the tiebreaker and be the team to face Missouri in the Big 12 title game on Dec. 6.
