It’s been a busy 24 hours for the Tigers since the end of Saturday’s wild loss to Kansas. To recap:

Big 12 title game: Missouri will play Oklahoma at 7 p.m. Saturday in Arrowhead. The Sooners won a tiebreaker with Texas and Texas Tech to be the Big 12 South representative by virture of a higher BCS ranking (2 for Oklahoma, 3 for Texas).

Dave Christensen: Gary Pinkel’s assistant coach and offensive coordinator since their days at Toledo, is taking the head coaching job at Wyoming according to sources at Mizzou and Wyoming. He was in Laramie on Saturday with his wife and due back in Columbia Sunday.

Matt Eberflus: Pinkel’s defensive coordinator had an interview with Toledo about its head coaching job.

Bowls: If the Tigers don’t win the Big 12 title game and the berth in the Fiesta Bowl, it is looking more and more likely they wind up in the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio on Dec. 29 against a Big 10 team. OU and Texas are headed to BCS bowls, the Cotton would take Texas Tech and the Holiday is leaning toward Oklahoma State over Mizzou. The Gator is set for Nebraska and so that leaves the Alamo next in line.

Polls: Missouri dropped to 20th in the BCS; 17th in the USA Today Coaches’ poll; 18th in the Harris Interactive and 19th in the AP.
