Missouri stays the same in three football polls
The Tigers didn’t move in the human polls after Saturday’s win over Iowa State in what was pretty much an upset-free weekend for the top teams in the nation. One thing to watch was a small shift in the coaches poll between Oklahoma and Texas (the Longhorns jumped ahead of the Sooner) because that could impact the Big 12 South champion and Missouri’s opponent in the Big 12 title game. That was the only change in the top 10s in any of the polls
The polls:
AP: 1. Alabama, 2. Texas Tech, 3. Florida, 4. Texas, 5. Oklahoma, 6. Southern Cal, 7. Penn State, 8. Utah, 9. Boise State, 10. Ohio State, 11. Oklahoma State, 12. Missouri.
Coaches: 1. Alabama, 2. Texas Tech, 3. Florida, 4. Texas, 5. Oklahoma, 6. Southern Cal, 7. Utah, 8. Penn State, 9. Boise State, 10. Ohio State, 11. Missouri, 12. Oklahoma State.
Harris: 1. Alabama, 2. Texas Tech, 3. Florida, 4. Texas, 5. Oklahoma, 6. Southern Cal, 7. Penn State, 8. Utah, 9. Boise State, 10. Ohio State, 11. Missouri.
Mizzou would beat Utah, Penn state, Boise state and Ohio state in any bowl. Bring them on. They are all overranked.
