The first computer rankings of the week are out and Oklahoma jumped from fourth to first in the Jeff Sagarin system. Last week, Texas was first in Sagarin. This is a good indication that the Sooners will catch the Longhorns in the computer rankings portion of the BCS formula and move past Texas.

That means Oklahoma would win the Big 12 South tiebreaker and advance to the Big 12 title game against Missouri on Saturday in Kansas City (7 p.m. on ABC).

The complete BCS standings are to be released between 3 and 4 p.m. today.

Missouri is 22nd in Sagarin’s ELO-CHESS rankings (which don’t take into account margin of victory). According to Sagarin, Missouri played the 51st toughest schedule, only Kansas State (54) had an easier schedule among Big 12 teams. Other Big 12 teams and their schedule rank: Baylor (5), Colorado (8), Texas (12), Texas A&M (13),  Oklahoma (17), Kansas (24), Texas Tech (26), Nebraska (27), Oklahoma State (39), and Iowa State (42).
