It’s Frustrating to see the recruiting that Minn has been able to do here in the last few yrs. It makes no sense: Less success, limited game exposure, limited big 10 history here & when you leave St. Louis…Who goes to the far north?

so much for having the border locked down, and actually, i think minnesota has a couple national championships from many years ago. don’t believe missouri has any.

Its ashame. he will get lost in Minnesota. Doesnt he know it is cold up there? And there is like 45,000 students that all sound like they’re from Canada. Not to mention that both their football and basketball programs suck.

Too much interest in b-ball for my taste. I am not sure how anyone can be a 2-sport athlete now a days with the 12 month commitment that both sports require. Especially in a football program that will be going to bowl games every year now - makes it really hard to play b-ball effectively.

Wingo is the main target to get and Richardson is the main one to keep.

The kid made the best choice for him. I commend his choice and wish him all the best. Whatever the reason the kid decided to go to the school that fits him best. He had to make a decision like a man and he did. If he had chosen to go to the Univ. of Bagdad I’d have to respect his decision. The kid can really play and he will definitely bring ecxitement to Minn. football.

Good luck, good studying and GOD Bless,

BO

Hate to lose a good player. Does this young man realize that there is 12 inches of snow on the gound up there with more coming. Temp -6 with wind chill of -28.

Snow season in Minnesota starts in September ends in April.

Seriouly, Good Luck in school

This was a package deal. His HS coach, who played DI ball at SLU is going to join him at MN. Tubby Smith gave this opportunity weeks ago. I just hope he doesn’t blow out a knee during football. This kid has a sweet shot from the outside.

I’m glad he’s playing both sports. I’ve seen this guy play basketball a few times, he’s amazing.

I’m curious to know the concern- if any- of many like mizzoujosh since his/their sentiments is that Maplewood doesn’t produce quality athletes; by the way, you may be right, but who cares because I believe it to be safe to assume that you did not contribute to the tuition fund.

Furthermore, the negativity from some of the bloggers may serve as supporting reasons as to why some Missouri High School athletes don’t choose “Missouri” higher learing institutions; maybe when they get there they will be confronted with mindsets that so heavily present themselves today. They’re only good athletes if they choose a school of “your” choice. Get MILK, or CHOOSE A MORE POSITIVE LIFE”STYLE.” Go Bryan, GO Maplewood and congratulations Gabrielle Scholar at Maplewood….
