The Tigers added a commitment this week when outside linebacker Josh Tatum (6-0, 240) of City College of San Francisco said he would play for Missouri.

Tatum originally signed with Southern Cal out of high school in 2006 but left the Trojans program.

Matt Eberflus, the DC, recruited Tatum.
Rivals has him rated the #11 linebacker in Junior College.
“Tatum also plans to help the Tigers score some other highly ranked prospects.

“I’m bringing some guys with me,” Tatum said. “I’m not going to commit for them just yet.”

It would seem one of those guys would be CCSF teammate Jarrell Harrison, a safety who visited Mizzou in October with Tatum.”

On surface this sounds great. But I would like to know what other schools expressed interest in this kid. Was he asked to come to a D-I school or are we talking about Murray State also in the mix.

I want to know that Mizzou is going after top recruits that other major programs want and not the old days that we beat off the UAB’s or Austin Peay’s.
