The good: Scoreboard is tied at 10.

The bad: Northwestern has converted on 8 of 12 third-down conversions.

The ugly: Chase Daniel has thrown two interceptions.

The key: Jeremy Maclin 1 punt return for 75 yards and a touchdown.

The omen: Missouri has scored 10 points or less in the first half this year. All losses.

Here is why Gary Pinkel is just a so so coach -
The D is still way under prepared
The D has 3 offsides
The offensive coordinator told the TV folks he was running 57 scripted plays in a row
This head coach needs to fire his D coordinator (the NW coach fired his after 3 seasons) and needs to direct his O coordinator on calling plays based on the D

And yet, the D still gave up only 10 points. You’re telling me you wouldn’t take that at the beginning of the game? The offense is imploding but the defense, despite silly penalties and some bad field position, is playing reasonably well.

I haven’t seen MU give up a TD like that since, last game.
I’m not really mad or upset - I don’t think anyone should be surprised.
