MU wins Alamo Bowl, 30-23

The MU defense stopped Northwestern on its possession in overtime as William Moore and Sean Weatherspoon sacked C.J. Bacher on third down and Moore knocked down a pass in the end zone on the last play.
That makes it 30-23 Missouri.
Well, the D showed up for this last one. It’s a good thing because the offense sure didn’t look right.
really sloppy game tonight….glad they won but they really got lucky. Take the trophy and run, boys.

Daniels was horrific….3 interceptions, several horribly high throws, lost composure a couple of times, etc. but……the rest of the team did well esp. the defense, Maclin, Coffman and yes, Wolfert. Weatherspoon should definitely be the MVP

Finnaly Mizzou unleashes a pass rush. Where has that been the last five games? And Congrats to Mizzou. Ten wins is a good thing.
Horrific play calling. Someone please explain the final 2 plays, apparently designed to lose yards while running back and forth across the field. Those 2 plays were a stamp on a season of wasted opportunities. THAT BEING SAID…10 wins and a bowl win is a great place to be. I’d rather be whining about barely squeaking out a bowl victory than crying about another 3-8 season like we did when I was as the ‘Zoo….

Someone needs to teach this team about pass defense (Don’t let the other guys score on you deep). The pass defense was not good the last three games.
