Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald said the team is taking its trip to San Antonio seriously:

“I think you can see by the way we’re dressed we’re here for business and its going to be a great challenge.  They have been able to score points on everybody and move the ball on everybody.”

Fitzgerald said running back Tyrell Sutton should be ready to play after being out since mid-October with a hand injury. “He’s doing great. He’s listed as probable now. He went though the last three or four practices we had. He’s shaking the rust off a little bit; getting his timing back with our offense.”

Said Sutton: “It’s doing good. I’m ready to play. I’m 110 (percent). Whenever I’m out there on the field nothing really matters.”
