Big 12 update: Baylor 71, Kansas 64
So the top-seeded Jayhawks are out of the Big 12 tournament, which certainly opens up the top half of the bracket. Baylor, the ninth-seed, beat Kansas 71-64 after taking a big lead in the first half, surrendering it briefly in the second, then holding on for the win.
Missouri, which plays Texas Tech tonight, still faces a potential roadblock in the semifinals in Oklahoma.
But Kansas’ loss certainly re-opens the door to the possibility that the Tigers could end up in the Kansas City regional for the first- and second- rounds.
Various bracket projections had been placing OU or KU in Kansas City. But if MU were to win the tournament and become the Big 12’s highest-rated team, perhaps a trip to KC is in the offing?
But the way the upsets have been going so far in Oklahoma City, who knows what’s in store.
This shows that anything can happen in a tournament. Mizzou needs to play like they do at home. Please don’t take off the first half and play the full 40. You are greaaatttt!

Wow KU sucks. Way to not show up for another big game. But seriously keep winning at Allen Fieldhouse that will make it all better. BTW, KU didn’t win a national championship last year, Memphis lost one. Just leavin it open for them tigers…gotta love it

KU Away Record - 6 WINS 5 LOSSES
4 of those MU away losses were conference games. KU only lost 2 away conference games. So get your facts straight before you start accusing others of the same thing you’ve done, but even worse.
And by my count, KU is still up 23 points on MU this season.
Yes, KU choked today. Not by bad officiating or other lame excuses, by their own doing. They played poorly and lost. No excuses. the same thing you’ve done but even worse? typical idiot kansas fan trying to justify their away record is better than mizzou’s when those records are almost identical. A) I really don’t care that your up on mizzou this season by 20+ points because you guys aren’t in the Big 12 tourny anymore (sooks) and B) Now you won’t play the first round of the tourny in KC, which is a home court advantage, because you guys are choke artists. I know T-Tech is a big roadblock for you, but it won’t be for a mizzou team that is out to prove something in this tourny. But seriously, have fun losing on the road somewhere else in the first round

TYPETEN, wow could you be more wrong??? No Oklahoma, Texas Tech was manhandled by MU…and keeping a cumulative score of MU vs. KU that makes about as much sense as your mom on a corner at 11pm… 1 win to 1 win is all that matters.
