MU to open NCAA baseball vs. Western Kentucky

The Tigers baseball team (34-25) will open the NCAA tournament against Western Kentucky (34-25) in the Oxford, Mississippi regional.

Ole Miss (40-17) is the top seed in the regional and host school. It opens against Monmouth.

The sub-regionals are a four-team, double-elimination format.

The Big 12 has eight teams in the field, including Oklahoma State which didn’t finish in the top eight in the league and make the conference tournament.
