Tigers trailing Western Kentucky early in baseball
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Senior Ian Berger, who got the start today against Western Kentucky, is out after allowing six hits and seven earned runs in the first two innings.
He’s been replaced by Tyler Clark as the Tigers try to patch together a pitching staff and stay alive in the NCAA regional.
Missouri, which lost to Western Kentucky on Friday to open the regional, beat Monmouth on Saturday to stay alive. The Tigers are trailing, 7-0 after two innings. If they find a way to rally, Missouri would face host Ole Miss tonight needing a win to force a deciding game on Monday.
