So, what did we learn from listening to Nebraska’s Bo Pelini, Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy, Texas A&M’s Mike Sherman and Iowa State’s Paul Rhoads?

– The Big 12 is more than just a passing conference. Teams can run, too. “Look at Oklahoma, they’ve got some balance,” Pelini said. “That’s what the great teams have.”

– The conference’s depth is getting better. “You better watch out against the ‘lower’ teams because if you aren’t ready, they can beat you,” Gundy said.

– Who is this year’s Texas Tech (meaning the team that gets left behind OU and Texas in the South)? Oklahoma State.

– And best bit of perspective comes from Sherman, recounting a scene after last year’s loss to Texasa: “I was very quiet the entire weekend .. My little 9-year-old daughter comes in and sits on my lap. She looks up and says “Daddy?” … You’re expecting your daughter to say those three words you want to ehar, which is I love you. She said, “Daddy, get over it.”

Here’s Tuesday’s schedule: Missouri, Baylor, Kansas and Oklahoma.

Gabbert will rise to the occasion and mizzou will win the big 12. A new d coordinator will bring our defense together and our offense will shine. BRING IT ON.
