Some key numbers from the first half:
Colt McCoy completed 18 of 21 passes for 213 yards and 3 touchdowns. Two of his incompletions were drops by Malcolm Williams and the third could have been caught by Foswhitt Whittaker.
Missouri had 102 yards but 81 of those came on their lone scoring drive. On that drive, Kendial Lawrence ran 3 times for 30 yards and the Tigers picked up 52 yards on the ground. Last week against Oklahoma, Texas held the Sooners to minus-16 yards. The most yards Texas allowed on the ground this season was 101 in the opener against Louisana-Monroe.
Texas held the ball for 17:26 while Missouri had it for just 12:34.
Texas averaged 7.0 yards per play to 3.5 for Missouri.
