McCoy looks OK on first Texas scoring drive
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
If the thumb was bothering Colt McCoy, it didn’t show on Texas’ first drive against Missouri.
He completed three of three passes for 46 yards, including an 8-yard TD pass to Jordan Shipley.
Texas went 61 plays and scored with 11:24 left in the quarter.
For a point of reference from last year’s MU-Texas game, the Longhornsdidn’t score until 8:03 of the first quarter enroute to a 35-0 halftime lead.
Missouri’s Luke Lambert got hurt on the first play from scrimmage, a 31-yard pass to Shipley.
