The Tigers have filled in one more spot on their 2010 schedule by adding McNeese State of the Southland Conference for a Sept. 11 game in Columbia.

The Tigers still need one other non-conference game to fill out their schedule. They currently have Illinois in St. Louis on Sept. 4 and Miami of Ohio in Columbia on Sept. 25. Sept. 18 and Oct. 2 are the open weeks that the other opponent could go.

McNeese, a member of the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Div. 1-AA) is 5-2 this season. The only Div. 1 team that McNeese played this year was a loss to Tulane although the Cowboys did beat FCS power Appalachian State.

McNeese St is fine team.
But we have to play better that we did against Texas.
That was an embarrassment.
David Yost is a terrible Off. Cordinator, bubble pass ten times a game, every play 20 seconds long, the two running back formation works well, and as soon as it works Yost stops calling it.
Blaine Gabbert is playing 60% in a team game, with an injury, yes Coach Pinkel we know he’s tuff, but the injury is hurting the team. Team game remember?
All week I heard Mack Brown was a class guy.
Why don’t we just forfeit the game and watch you give Mack Brown a big wet kiss.
How about Andy Hill as new off. Cordinator, he certainly could prepare the team better that Yost.

It is important to get cupcake wins early considering how bad mizzou is against talented teams.

What, there wasn’t a Missouri high school team available? What a joke, Missouri plays in the horrible Big 12 North division and gets spanked by every decent Big 12 South team they play and then load their non-conference schedule with a bunch of soft teams.

I have watched Mizzou football for 60 years, including the glory years with Dan Divine. I don’t recall Coach Divine standing on the sidelines and not interacting with other coaches or, especially the players. Where is the fire? Don’t players mimic their head coach? I haven’t seen total lack of emotion from Stoops, Mack Brown, Pete Carroll, et al and it shows at Mizzou.

Maybe when the attendance at the “Zoo” goes back to the levels of old they will realize that this coaching staff is a sham and the fans will not put up with it.
