BOULDER, Col. — After scoring 27 points in its previous 10 quarters of play, Mizzou put up 21 in the first quarter against Colorado on Saturday in Boulder, highlighted by Blaine Gabbert’s 73-yard TD pass to Danario Alexander.
At the end of the first quarter last week, MU trailed Texas 21-0. Entering Saturday’s game, MU had just 33 first-quarter points all season.
Grant Ressel’s 29-yard field goal made it 24-0 midway through the second quarter.
