Chase Coffman says he’s at 80 percent health for OU game
Chase Coffman in advance of Big 12 title game:
On his toe: Injuries are frustrating and not being able to do what you’d like to. Wasn’t at full speed (vs. Kansas) but made some plays. Hopefully be able to come out and do it this week. I’m at about 80 percent.
On season and if it was a disappointment: We’ve definitely had some disappointing games with some losses. Been against pretty good teams. Not worry about that now. One team to focus on. Do best we can to beat OU this weekend. We have so much to gain and so do they. They can go to national title game if they win. Like we did last year when they knocked us out of there.
Pressure OU’s offense puts on its opponents offense: Definitely puts pressure on our offense. That’s why they are so great. Can’t worry about what they are doing. We just have to go out and make plays when we have a chance to.
Mizzou has no chance at all to be an offensive threat this weekend without Coffman. Offensive success, a couple kick returns for TD’s by Maclin, and about 4 turnovers by Oklahoma could make it interesting.
