Tub Time With Albert
As always, Albert Pujols has approached the whole steroid issue directly. He couldn’t be more clear with his comments.
Speaking to a Latin-American reporter, Albert took his position to another level.
Questioned in Spanish about skeptics assuming he uses steroids, Pujols didn’t mince words. Defiantly, he said he’s put up these astounding numbers without taking shortcuts.
“My house is always open,” Pujols said in Spanish, acccording to ESPN.com. “They can come anytime to do all the tests they want during the offseason.
“I challenge them to try training with me during three months and a half. They can come and check every place in my house, they can even come with me in my bathtub. I have nothing to hide.”
Well . . . that probably won’t be necessary. Bud Selig is serious about cleaning up the sport, but he can let Albert bathe in peace.
