Dodgers Strike Again, Lead 5-0
The latest two-out RBI came from Manny Ramirez, this time with a seventh-inning single off reliever John Smoltz.
Andre Ethier’s gave ManRam that opportunity with a two-out triple. Ethier has seven total bases so far in this game while Manny Ramirez is 3 for 4 with two RBI.
To this point of the game, Ramirez has as many hits as all the Cards hitters combined. That is not a good sign for the home team.
Time is running out on their postseason in a hurry.

It has been a complete collapse in every phase of the game - manager with crazy BO (molina #6), pitching, and the offensive choke.
Worst thing - no leadership from the big guns. Biggest failure - Holiday - and I’m not counting the error.
What can you say. This team SUCKED in September, SUCKED even more in October, and are OUT in 3! Also, end the season on a 6 game losing streak. Too bad St. Louis dosen’t have a “PROFESSIONAL” football team.

Hopefully this will be LaLosers last game as Cardinal Manager. Whitey went to the WS 3 times in 10 years and the two times he lost it went 7 games. LaLoser has had waayyy too much talent to only go to the WS twice and win it only once on a fluke in 15 years. O-VER RA-TED!!! GET RID OF HIM DE WITT!!!
I don’t blame TLR for this one…it has been a great year…better than anyone ever thought coming into Spring Training…I always thought that the Cards fans were the best in baseball but reading some of the comments a lot of you sound like whinny Cub fans!! We need a new hitting philposhpy but other than that I’m very proud of this team and what it accomplished this year!! Lets sign some guys and gear up for 2010!! Besides when have we ever played well in the postseason in an odd number year??
