Dolphins-Rams Fourth Quarter, Cont.: Miami Counters With Field Goal
When Bulger tried to hit Anthony Becht – or was it Joe Klopfenstein? — he threw another interception to put Miami back into scoring range.
This time it was Renaldo Hill who jumped into the passing lane.
Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown attacked the Rams defense. But cornerback Jason Craft made the big play, breaking up a potential TD pass to Davone Bess, and Miami settled for Dan Carpenter’s 42-field goal.
That extended the Dolphins’ lead back to four points, 16-12.
The Rams offense “responded” by taking a three-and-out powder. Jim Haslett heard some boos for declining to take a fourth-and-one gamble with the team deep in its own zone

Bulger = no chance to win a game.
i’m smellin’ another bulger turnover….
I can’t believe the Rams have the ball with 2 minutes left in the game and actually have a chance to win! That alone is tremendous progress.
HA, HA, HA, HEE, HEE,HO, HO!! (In the usual robotic tone) You can’t blame this one on me!
Stage is set for Bulger to be the man. Yet another chance.
Geez, they had 50 seconds to move the ball downfield, but NO, a panic-driven long bomb, which that idiot Bulger has over or underthrown all year. That was bad play calling, not totally on Bulger.
Thanks Bulger. Game, set, and match. You truly are inept.
Scott Linehan, NIIIIIIIICE!
