Rams-49ers Third Quarter: Incognito Joins Injured List

San Francisco quarterback Shaun Hill had a perfect 158.3 passer rating for the first half. And he came out firing in the second half, moving the 49ers right down the field – until Jason Craft dumped him on a safety blitz.

So the 49ers actually had to punt the ball back to the Rams.

With guard Richie Incognito out with a shoulder injury, Brett Romberg had to fill in at right guard. What could possibly go wrong?

The Rams offensive continued sputtering. Their defense stabilized, earning another stop on another cornerback blitz by Craft.

But at this point, both teams were just trying to get the game over with.

Wasn’t Warner a has been when he left the Rams? It isn’t the QB, it’s the organization.

I left at 7-3 with chores to do. Come back and it’s 35-3. Even these other stinker teams like Detroit, KC and Cincinnati are IN the games. We totally don’t deserve to have two wins, against Dallas and Washington of all things. You can fire everybody, but who would agree to replace them? Beyond words.

It is beyond amazing that our two wins are against two (at least) good teams.

It’s beyond astonishing.

In these bad economic times, at least we can pick up some Rams gear cheap. Wonder how the season ticket sales for next year are going. I admit it would be perverse fun to go to a game just to boo them.
