Seahawks-Rams Fourth Quarter: Rams Up 20-13

On a drive that started in the third quarter, the Rams managed to move downfield despite getting flagged for big penalties on Torry Holt (offensive pass interference, undeserved) and guard Richie Incognito (holding, deserved).

Among the big plays: Marc Bulger’s 24-yard lob to Donnie Avery, Bulger’s hit to Steven Jackson over the middle for a first down and Bulger’s strike to Holt on daring a fourth-and-6 call.

In the end, though, the Rams had to settle for Josh Brown’s 48-yard field goal — which boosted the lead to 20-13.

The Rams defense followed that score with a three-and-out stop, giving the offense a chance to take back the ball and build a two-score lead. Unfortunately, they stalled again when Bulger’s third-down completion to Anthony Becht (!) came up short of the first down.
