Hello from the ballpark!
It’s not raining. Yet. Media types coming over from the west said it was raining the whole way — and the STLToday.com weather map features an enormous wall of water heading this way.
The lineup: Skip Schumaker leading off, followed by Ryan Ludwick, Albert Pujols, Troy Glaus, Rick Ankiel, Yadier Molina, Cesar Izturis (gulp!), Adam Wainwright and Aaron Miles.
There was a pretty festive atmosphere outside the ballpark, although the threatening weather put a damper on the street festival.
Wow, Gordo put together a blog without cutting and pasting a bunch of crap from all over the web. I am impressed! He must have a few beers in him…
