Missouri-Oklahoma Fourth Quarter, Cont.: Sooners win 62-21
What can you say? Oklahoma is still Oklahoma and Missouri is still Missouri. The Sooners kept the Tigers in their place Saturday night.
Oklahoma will roll into the BCS Championship Game. Bob Stoops will get another crack at the national title. That battle with Florida ought to be memorable.
As the Tigers move on from the Chase Daniel Era, they will have a LOT of work to do while striving to reach OU’s level.
What the Sooners did to them will leave a mark for some time. They measured their defense for 60 points, then went out and made it happen.
Mizzou is overrated…when will the STL press stop sucking up to the Tigers?
Like anybody really believed that they were going to win… my only hope was that the defensive coaches would have put up a little bit more… not just in this game… but pretty much from the first game of the season. Eberflus should be fired. Recruiting needs to be better judges of defensive talent.
I’m happy Mizzou made it to the championship game. Consistency is a big thing for a program. But if they don’t step up and fix the defensive issues on this team, They will not win the Big 12 North next season. Pinkel better earn his contract extension next season…because he sure is making people question why they did it now…
this just shows the importance of 350 pound offensive linemen and speedy defensive backs. that is where a championship team is built
Do you suppose Mizzou can get a bowl opponent the likes of Nevada? As it turns out Mizzou is a very ordinary team with a lot of bluster and hype that has unraveled. Better luck next year.
