The usual mix of passing and running allowed Oklahoma to march 69 yards for another touchdown, this one scored by third-string running back Mossis Madu.

That scoring drive, capped early in the fourth quarter, pushed the Sooners lead to 48-14.

Oklahoma has outgained Missouri 491-231 at this point. Sam Bradford has completed 30 of 42 passes for 318 yards and the two touchdowns. Chris Brown and Madu have combined to rush for 166 yards.

The Sooners rolled closer and closer to their date with Florida in the BCS Championship Game.

All Mizzou could try to do now was salvage some respect.

Jeremy Maclin made a terrific TD reception . . . then lost it when he crash-landed on his back. Chase Coffman made a highlight-reel play on third-and-10, reeling in a 17-yard catch with a nifty toe touch on the sideline.

Coffman was rewarded on the next play with a TD pass from Daniel. Good for him, too, because the kid has been playing the best he could with a painful “turf toe” injury.

That score made the margin more respectable, at 48-21.

But that touchdown also gave Oklahoma motivation to come back firing. Consecutive strikes to Jaquin Iglesias got the Sooners into Missouri territory.

The Sooners kept slamming away until Chris Brown punched in another touchdown. Now the score is 55-21.
