KU-MU: Another Tiger Surge
After the Tigers cut the margin to three points, Leo Lyons continued attacking Kansas center Cole Aldrich . . . and the big fella started earning stops and swaps.
Those defensive plays led to fast-break points — and soon KU had an 11-point lead again.
The fact that Kansas doesn’t miss free throws and MU does also hurt the Tigers cause.
But they kept clawing away , , , and finally a three-pointer by DeMarre Carroll cut the advantage to 54-51 by rattling home a three pointer.
