Can you tell I’m excited about tonight’s second-season premiere of “Heroes”? But it’s more than anticipation of  the return of my favorite show. It’s anxiety, too, because the season finale let me down in some  ways, and creator Tim Kring — who is so brilliant — seemed oblivious (or in denial) to fans’ disappointment. (We asked him about it during a set visit in July.) The new season will also add a lot of characters, which makes me nervous because there were already a lot of characters, too many to serve them all well. And honestly, I’m not all that thrilled about seeing my beloved Hiro in feudal Japan. All this makes me sympathetic with people like Kring (and Damon Lindelof of “Lost”) who write shows whose fans are so passionate and involved. Living up to all those expectations must be almost impossible!
