I noticed in one of your ealrier comments, you mentioned about the local TV Emmy’s. My question to you is this. Who votes for these local newscasters and stations? I saw on the web that Channel 5 KSDK won some Emmy’s and was wondering how they could garner votes for these awards. Do the employees vote for each other or does the viewing audience have a say in this? I am so fed up with seeing thier self appreciation clips about how good they are and now they are doing this stand up delivery of the news. If they think they are the best, then my chances of hitting Powwerball just went up.
If one of the awards is for the most excessive, off the deep end use of weather maps, then channel 5 deserves to win. But channel 4 is a close second.
