‘Lost’: 8 days and counting
“Lost” returns a week from Thursday, on Jan. 31, with a catch-up special at 7 followed by the season premiere at 8. Last May’s season finale will be repeated the night before, but I’m putting together a big package on the return for Sunday’s A&E section, so I’m already deeply immersed in the “Lost” world. Among the things I did yesterday was read a very good recap of “Through the Looking Glass” on ABC’s “Lost” website. (If you go here at work, watch out; it starts blasting audio.) Even just reading the synopsis, that episode is one of the best season finales in my memory, and certainly one with the most surprises. The website also offers full episodes from all three seasons in streaming HD, and it’s all I can do not to put on headphones, sit at my desk and watch. Alas, deadlines prevent me.
Thanks for the heads up about Sunday’s A&E. I can’t wait for “Lost” to start again! All I have to do is start praying now that there is no bad weather - so I don’t have to watch it through weather maps or school closings.
