‘Lost’: I’ve seen the future!
After swearing that they wouldn’t send the season premiere of “Lost” out for review, ABC in fact made it available as streaming video on their press site over the weekend. I went back and forth about whether I wanted to watch it (since I’d already written my big story, which ran Sunday) or wait for the total “Lost” experience Thursday night. Was I kidding myself? Of course, I couldn’t wait, so I jumped through all ABC’s hoops — new registration, multiple promises of secrecy, even agreeing to a list of stuff I’m not supposed to tell you — and watched it Sunday.
What CAN I tell you? Very exciting. Emotional. Lots of forward motion to the plot — especially the intriguing opening, which spoiler sites have reported but I won’t (it was on the list).
If I enjoyed it so much on a four-inch video player that wouldn’t expand to full-screen (it was supposed to) and in fact seemed to be cutting the right side of the picture off, it must be a great episode. Meanwhile, if anybody hasn’t watched “Lost in 8:15,” do — it’s amusing and also a great cheat-sheet. It’s available on ABC’s main website, but I couldn’t watch any of that video from the office because of the firewall, so others may have the same issues.

AARRRGGGHHHH !!!
WooHoo! New Lost! And Gail approves! I cannot wait!
I am so jealous. But thanks for not spoiling us!
Over the last six weeks I’ve watched all three previous seasons to get ready for Thursday. I’m really looking forward to the next chapters.
