It certainly did for me, and more so. After watching the first time as streaming video, I watched the season premiere again last night and was just as riveted. Held my breath at the same spots. Got a little teary at the same (two) spots. Enjoyed every minute with my favorite character (Hurley). Cursed the fact that now, there are only seven episodes left.
And Garricks, yes, you were right in your speculation about what had Hurley running scared. Of course, I couldn’t congratulate you at the time.
Anybody still waiting to watch the season premiere — and if so, what’s the matter with you? — be aware that although there are no spoilers in this post, there well may be in comments.

Gail, is it just my memory or in the 1st airing several months ago of the episode where Locke was in the cabin with Ben, did we not see Jacob in the rocking chair? Was that something that was added to Wed. and Thurs. episodes?
I liked last night’s episode also especially since it homed in on Hurley, one of my favorite characters. Not only was it a good episode, it opened up several cans of worms with new questions.
One more thing - yesterday on “The View”, Whoopi said she had inside info on a new arc in the storyline. Did you catch that and do you have any opinion if she might be right or not? After all, the creators of “Lost” are really secretive.
I really like the episode. A few answers and a lot more questions!
Gail, I was right only because I guessed every possible thing! LOL
Hurley states he’s one of the Oceanic 6. Are we to believe only 6 make it off the Island? does that mean the people from the freighter are bringing lots of bloodshed with them? Or does it mean that more people wanted to stay on the island then leave?
If the Oceanic 6 are the only 6 survivors to make it off the island, we know3 of them (Jack, Hurley, and Kate). In the flash forward with Jack and Kate at the airport (jack with the hobo beard), Kate says she has to “get back to him” implyingthat Jack knows who the “him” is. Could this be Sawyer? Maybe Jack’s need to go back to the island is due to the guilt he has for leading people into a slaughter….mabye ghosts live on the island….
Is Jack’s downward spiral due to the fact that maybe Hurley kills himself.
If Hurley is crazy, does that mean he was hallucinating the lottery win?
I still think that with a little muscle, charly could have opened the door, got out, and he and desmond could have resealed it.
Maybe the Dharma initiative transmits reruns of Dharma and Greg into space for alien entertainment…
muscle people…
See label for more ingredients. We took the next step and actually duplicated these important muscle growth factors into Muscle Milk.6…
