I am 26 and a HUGE fan of them both! They have been my 2 favorites since auditions! I will be buying their cd’s and going to the idol tour concert. But after last nights performance I have to give it to David A! He was just phenominal last night! I liked David C he just didn’t wow me like David A or like he has in the past. And I’m even thinking about driving to Blue Springs when he comes home to try to meet him. (I live outside of St. Louis) But either way, they both will have wonderful careers as they are both extremely talented! Great job Davids!

David A’s performance had ‘wow factors’ last night, brilliant kid. He deserves to win, As Simon said, ‘That was a knockout’, he simply outperformed David C. I wish he could get rid of his shivering and nervousness after his songs

Honestly I thought Archuletta was boring as usually…He had a lot of pitch problems last night and Imagine wasn’t nearly as good as the first time he did it. I really have to disagree with Simon on last night, I don’t think Archuletta was as good as they were saying…but he is going to win because of the little teeny boppers, but I think he is going to be the next Taylor Hicks. He isn’t going to be a very marketable recording artist. All he is does is ballads. David Cook is and will be far and away the best success story of this season. I don’t know if that is the Missouri side talking or the hatred for Archie’s father, but Cook is the much better and well rounded artist. I can’t wait for this album to come out as I will not support the unfortunate winner.

I would be fine with either one of them winning, but David A delivered last night. His vocals were flawless and it seemed he had more drive than David C did. I have been a HUGE fan of David C all season - but I didn’t get the chills and goose bumps when he sang like I did when David A sang last night. David A’s songs and performances were memorable last night - I’m not sure I can say David C’s were. Either way, both of them have overcome a lot to stand in the top two positions. I do believe it’s true Idol producers hope David C wins. I don’t think they want the drama of managing David A’s “stage Dad”.

If I judged only the three performances each last night, Archuletta wins. I think his song choices were better. Neither one forgot any lyrics that I caught.

But overall, throughout the competition, Cook has been consistently better.

I’ll be happy with either one.

And I’ll say it again: Please get rid of the tween mosh pit next season!

I’m not an big fan of American Idol,but I did enjoy last night show and it obvious that both guys have lots of talent.There a few things I like to be changed.1-The judges should not be allowed on the finals-It was obvious that the judges were heavely favored to David A.(Espically Simon)2-Let the singers do full lenght versions of the songs they are performing.Let them really put it on the line!P.S. I’m 50 years old so even some of the “old folks” watch Idol.

I think they both did enough to win last night. It’s popularity at this point. With that being said, I would like to put out there this fact: Chris Daughtry came in fourth the season that Taylor Hicks won the popular vote. Between them, who has sold the most music? Daughtry, by the millions. Although Archie will win tonight, Cook will out-sell him by millions.
