Chat Thursday — and send a question to Hollywood!

Our chat at 1 p.m. is our last for two weeks. I’m heading for Hollywood Tuesday and will do just one chat from there, on July 17. (Exact time TBA, depending on what I have that day.)

Meanwhile, though, think of questions you’d like me to ask the stars, and suits, and scribes while I’m in TV land. Post them for the chat by clicking HERE, but in an exception to our “no chat questions on the blog” rule, you can also post them as comments here. I can’t promise I’ll get answers — and especially answers you’ll like — but I’ll give it a shot.

Gail, I’d still like an update on Julia from last year’s Hell’s Kitchen. She’s the Waffle House Chef that Ramsay promised to send to culinary school

Also, please corner Allison Grodner regarding Big Brother 10 (BBX). Any dirt is greatly appreciated! :)

Oh, and can you find out when Jericho, Moonlight and Judging Amy are coming back on the schedule? :p

Thanks, have a safe trip!

We sometimes use the ‘closed caption’ function. Why, on shows that have been completed weeks/months ago, do they insist on running the captions several seconds late, as if it were being input ‘on the fly’? Very annoying.

I heard an interview with Tim Robbins on NPR’s To The Best Of Our Knowledge this morning. He talked about his latest project being a play which is an updated version of Brave New World with the troupe, The Actor’s Gang. I would love to see it but am not traveling to California. I would like to know if they are planning to tour with the play, if they are going to film the play and make it available to the Sundance Channel/IFC as the last one was or if he has plans to turn that play into a new film version of the book. I think an updated film version of this book would have a wide audience in these political times.

Hi Gail-
I saw your note in Sunday’s paper that you are participating in Dancing with the Stars during the Critic’s convention. TOO COOL! I would like to know if the professionals have any say into what celebrities they will work with or if the producers are the only ones that make this decision. Thanks and Be careful out there in LA LA land. Will you hobnob with The Office crowd? Please tell Phyllis and Jenna that I said hello (ha)and tell Angela Kinsey congratulation on her new baby.
