‘The Bachelorette’: DeAnna’s choice (spoilers)
She’s happy, in love and engaged, DeAnna said during last night’s “Men Tell All” special. But who’s the guy?
Smart money would seem to be on Jason, especially after his A-plus performance as Fun Jason on the overnight Bahamas date. Before that, he had often seemed overly serious and reserved, and this date might have been a turning point in DeAnna’s feelings for him.
However, she keeps keeping Jesse. He’s declared his love. The first “Bachelorette,” Trista, went against predictions by picking Ryan, who was kind of a Jesse type except, well, not a snowboarder. I wonder if his requirement to live in the mountains part of the year was a deal-breaker.
By the way, she eliminated Jeremy based on just what I read into what she kept saying: He was the perfect man, with everything she could possibly want … but (unsaid) she just didn’t feel it.
In the finale next week, they seem to have both men dropping to their knees to propose. I don’t think that’s how it happened with Trista — didn’t she send Charlie away and then tell Ryan he was the one, after which he gave her the ring he’d picked out? If they’re going to have both men propose with rings, and then reject one, that seems too cruel. Of course, teases are often misleading, deliberately so.
As for the “Men Tell All” special: Wow, did they. They were so mean and bitter that in most cases, it was clear that DeAnna did the right thing in eliminating them. There were some cuties, though, that would be great catches for someone else — including adorable sweater-vest guy (name escapes me) who got propositioned by the woman in the audience!
It seems that DeAnna will make the bad choice and pick Jason. He’s damaged goods. He’s got a kid. Its pretty obvious he’s looking for a Mommy for his kid. If she picks him, she will complicate her life tremendously, while making his life sweet and easy. They shouldn’t even allow men with kids on the show. Thats just wrong. I hope she picks Jesse.
wow, you’re ridiculous….just because someone has a kid and their first marriage didn’t work out, they don’t deserve a second chance? You’re rude.
I think Deanna just might pick Jesse cause she seems to really get “giddy” and wanna stay as long as possible with him every time they are together and to me that is when you know.. She has kept him this far and he did say he was at the point of marriage for her so i think it will be him. Jason however, I have liked from day one and if she picks him too because of his gentle and fun side that would be great too! Cant wait for monday! It will be a long wait.
Wow, Lisa, you are absolutely RUDE! Jason is married doesnt mean he can’t make DeAnna happy. You are absolutely wrong but then, that’s your opinion. Obviously, you are not that smart. If DeAnna picks Jason, why not, he seems to me a sweet and genuine guy, caring ang has to offer. I think Jessie is a nice guy, but I after last night, when DeAnna asked him what is he gonna do after his snowboarding “career”, seems to me, that was a catch question. DeAnna wants security and nowadays, I think thats understandable. Whoever she pick, I hope she made the right choice. But, I go for Jason since he will be a perfect father and has a good quality.

Lisa is absolutely right. I married a Jason before. Baggage, baggage, baggage. None of us know the story of the mother to the “cute kid.” It is not always civil and always a gamble. She let the wrong guy go last night and has shown she is not ready for true love since she couldn’t “feel it” for the obvious choice. Jeremy is perfect for her but she did not want perfect, she wants fun. Fun comes and goes, perfect is forever. Tough luck DeAnna.
wow….the comment from Lisa and Dianna is pretty rough!!! You never know when you or a loved one will “Be damaged goods” as you call it….I am sure that you will change your tune then. Hopefully anyway. In addition, you can’t “assume” that he will be the same as someone else who has been married before and/or has a child. That is plain ignorant. That is like saying that I dated an artchitect and he was an idiot so all of them are….

Jason is more of a man than any of the other finalists will ever be. He’s real and down to earth. Any woman would be lucky to be in a relationship with him!
Let’s hear it for JESSE!!! They are so cute together and he is really genuine. They can build a life together vs. she’ll fit into Jason’s.
I have a feeling that she’ll pick Jesse, but I sincerely hope she picks Jason. He is so sweet and on the HTD she and Jason made such a beautiful couple with Ty. Jesse and DeAnna are just weird together, for me. They don’t seem like they’re a couple as much as they’re friends. He told his dad on the HTD that he wasn’t ready to get married right away and DeAnna definetly is. If she doesn’t pick Jason, I’ll drive to Seattle and find him myself!
