‘The Bachelorette’: DeAnna’s choice (spoilers)
She’s happy, in love and engaged, DeAnna said during last night’s “Men Tell All” special. But who’s the guy?
Smart money would seem to be on Jason, especially after his A-plus performance as Fun Jason on the overnight Bahamas date. Before that, he had often seemed overly serious and reserved, and this date might have been a turning point in DeAnna’s feelings for him.
However, she keeps keeping Jesse. He’s declared his love. The first “Bachelorette,” Trista, went against predictions by picking Ryan, who was kind of a Jesse type except, well, not a snowboarder. I wonder if his requirement to live in the mountains part of the year was a deal-breaker.
By the way, she eliminated Jeremy based on just what I read into what she kept saying: He was the perfect man, with everything she could possibly want … but (unsaid) she just didn’t feel it.
In the finale next week, they seem to have both men dropping to their knees to propose. I don’t think that’s how it happened with Trista — didn’t she send Charlie away and then tell Ryan he was the one, after which he gave her the ring he’d picked out? If they’re going to have both men propose with rings, and then reject one, that seems too cruel. Of course, teases are often misleading, deliberately so.
As for the “Men Tell All” special: Wow, did they. They were so mean and bitter that in most cases, it was clear that DeAnna did the right thing in eliminating them. There were some cuties, though, that would be great catches for someone else — including adorable sweater-vest guy (name escapes me) who got propositioned by the woman in the audience!
I am so glad she sent Jeremey home. He was a schmuck.
I like both the finalist and will be happy with whomever she picks. Kinda anti-climatic (where if Jeremy was a finalist I would root for the other).
On a side note, “damaged goods” is a bit cruel. As someone out there in the dating scene, there are plenty of childless losers out there that makes me realize eliminating someone because they have a kid is a bit silly (and probably self-destructive).

I’m 65% sure that she’ll pick Jesse though.I think she’ll pick him because she keeps saying that their relationship has grown since the beginning.But,Jesse did say if his career in snowboarding doesn’t work out he’ll just want to be happy.He doesn’t know what will happen when they get married.

For the comments about Jason having baggage I married a man with “baggage” and I love his son as if he were my own and couldn’t ask for a better husband and father for our own two children as well as his son from his previous marriage. We couldn’t be happier. I really hope Jason wins because he’s the sweetest and most stable man for her. After all stability is what Deanna says she wants and she’ll have that with Jason. They’d make a beautiful family!
Did anybody notice in the preview for the finale on the Men Tell All show that she clearly kisses Jason on the mouth and she turned her head slightly when Jesse went in to kiss her? that doesn’t mean that’s exactly how it happened as I know this is a preview and they probably meant to show that so we’d be surprised next week. I hope she picks Jesse as he does have everything she was looking for, but I do also think she is thinking Jesse is that “what I never expected, but found” love. I’m afraid that she’ll get her heart broken down the road if she choses Jesse as he just doesn’t seem to be ready for marriage, even though he told her he was. I think he said what he knew he’d have to if he wanted to continue their relationship to the point of possibly truly falling in love.
Deanna is a great girl, I love the fact that she is just as ‘plain -Jane’ as the rest of us. I think Jessy is sweet but not sure he is mature enough, and yes the fact that Jason has a kid does complicate things. My first impression was also damaged goods, too much complications RUN DEANNA!! but being such a huge fan of the Bachelorette, Jason was one of the few or the only guy I always saw acting like a gentleman and not abnoxious. I think Jessy played his game right, not too much in the beginning, the guys liked him and with his looks none of them felt threatend. ha-ha… I am suprised he is still standing. The only thing is Jessy is like a child, can’t even wash his hair everyday!!!! BUT he looks like a sweet guy, but for realistic long term… JASON!!
If I were 15 years older I would so marry Jason, I love kids and his kid is soooooooo cute! He is soooooooooo nice and sensitive!

I know DeAnna, my dad is her eterny, and she picks Jason ( thank god!) Ty is as cute as ever I baby sat him the other day wile DeAnna went out with Jason. Jason is like a brother to me, I met him about 3years ago.

Im hoping for Jason. Jesse is a greasy haired surfer dude completely lacking in intelligence as well as the ability to express himself. All he can say is This is ridiculous or this is crazy. He told friends he was doing the show to further his career and get exposure. What an idiot.
