Good luck to Jason. I think DeAnna made a mistake if she was looking for true commitment and future with children in it sooner rather than later. But there’s no accounting for what the heart feels.

I think when Jason loosened up, he seemed funny, attentive, and genuine. I wish him the best and will be (unfortunately) glued to my set on Monday nights!!

I certainly hope my sister-in law, Cindy Preszler, wins the Emmy for weather anchor and weathercase! GOOD LUCK CINDY!

Mike Bush?! I can’t think of a worse anchor in our market. Now we will never hear the end of those sappy “Ain’t Mike Grand” promos on Channel 5.

Side note: Yeah for Martin Kilcoyne! While I still would pick Steve Savard for my All-Stud News lineup (along with anchor Anderson Cooper and weathergod Sam Champion), I find Kilcoyne to be funny and charming. For those that agree, you should check out Martin’s radio show noon to 2:00, weekdays.

Cindy Preszler is hands-down the best weather personality in St. Louis and surrounding area. She makes the extra effort to know and understand our weather and it shows. She has real passsion for her job!
Best of Luck, Cindy!

Wow! Pennington finally does a piece about local TV–reprinting a press release. A few years back, NewsBlues.com voted her worst TV critic in the US three years running. No wonder. The woman just watches national TV. She has no local sources, no stories about local media, no reporting at all. Can’t she be fired already?

Local St. Louisan Jon Hamm is up for his work in MadMen on AMC. Well deserved, I hope he wins it!

Scott Connell, John Fuller and Mike Roberts add a lot of fun and humor to their weather forecasts. Oh but John Fuller’s contract is not being renewed by KDSK. Cindy and Mike Bush are stiff and do not add anything to the broadcast. I can not understand why John is not being offered a new contract. He has been with KSDK for about 25 years I think. Scott adds so much humor with Art and Jennifer in the mornings. Just what we need to start our day. The three of them are the best on St. Louis TV.
