Teen Choice Awards: 32 million winners?

I didn’t catch the Teen Choice Awards Sunday night on Fox, but from the list of winners the network sent out, it’s clear that these are awards with a category for everyone. Teens from 13-19 (and no, I don’t know how they had to prove it — is there online carding?) logged on and cast 32 million votes, and it looks as if there were 32 million winners. I actually had to lop off the bottom of the list because I got tired of editing it, but you can visit the Teen Choice website for more. Here’s the release — and by the way, I like the Jonas Brothers too, but “choice male red carpet fashion icons”?.

Teens Cast Over 32 Million Votes

The following were honored Sunday night at TEEN CHOICE 2008 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. TEEN CHOICE 2008 airs Monday, Aug. 4 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox. This year, teens logged on and cast approximately 32 million votes in support of their favorite celebrities in film, television, music, sports and fashion.
