Warren Sapp, ‘Dancing’ king

Wow, everybody (make that almost everybody) sucked on Monday’s “Dancing With the Stars.” The rumba is apparently really, really hard, and the pasa doble — which always makes me think of ice dancers Torvill and Dean at the Olympics — may be even harder. Some of the performances were actually painful, and I was forced to FF a lot. Brooke Burke wowed the judges (I’m still not sure why she’s a “star,” though), but I’m sticking with my Warren Sapp pick. He was amazing!

Who’ll be eliminated tonight? I don’t think it will be that spunky Cloris Leachman, even though her scores scraped the bottom. At this point, familiarity is as important as talent. If I got to vote, I might eliminate Misty May-Treanor, who is so awkward, it’s hard for me to watch.

Kim Kardishian was painful to watch. She should be voted off tonight. It appeared that she didn’t enjoy herself at all.

I am still going with my prediction from Week# 1 that Brooke Burke will win. Care to make a little wager, Gail? ha Brooke is more of a star than most of them- Don’t you remember when she hosted Rockstar-INXS and Wild On E? Omigosh, I am defending Brooke, my husband would be so impressed.

My favorite is Lance Bass, but I know he won’t win.

I think Kim Kardishian will go home tonight (if we are lucky). She has such a terrific partner (Go Mark Ballas!) but she always makes me cringe when she dances or if I happen to flip the channel and her equally cringe family reality show is on.

Cloris really needs to go. I don’t think ABC made a good choice allowing her on the show. Kim Kardashian appears to be trying, but some people just don’t dance well. Brooke, Warren and Cody are pleasant surprises. I think Maks will be able to get Misty to loosen up as time goes on.

I hope Kim Kardishian goes home. Didn’t her ‘celebrity’ arise from a sex-tape her then boyfriend made of the two of them? …And just why is the public rewarding this behaviour by paying attention to her?

No offense, but why is this show on TV??? I don’t get it. It is the height of banality. Brooke Burke? Who is she?? Kim Kardashian? And she is famous/infamous for being the spawn of the late Robert Kardashian, OJ Simpson’s attorney. I just don’t get it. When is “24″ coming back on?
