‘Damages’ returns Jan. 7 on FX

FX has finally answered the popular question, “When will ‘Damages’ be back?” The second-season premiere is set for Jan. 7, the network said Wednesday. Glenn Close, Rose Byrne and Zeljko Ivanek all return, along with Ted Danson as Arthur Frobisher. William Hurt, Timothy Olyphant (”Deadwood”) and Marcia Gay Harden join the cast. “Damages” will air at 9 p.m. Wednesdays for 13 episodes.
Also getting a return date from FX was “Nip/Tuck,” which will begin its fifth season at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6.
What about “Rescue Me” w/ Denis Leary?
